Raffles and Auction

Deep pockets don't exist for GeoWoodstock hosts. The event is hosted by everyday geocachers just like you. Each year hosts work hard at planning an unforgettable event on a shoestring budget.

Fundraising activities help in funding the event. So, how can you help? Make a donation, stop by and pick up raffle tickets and bid on the silent auction items.

DONATIONS

Monetary or swag type donations can be made by individuals, businesses, clubs, organizations, etc. Donated items will be distributed through raffle, silent auction or other means. Some past donation items have been geocoins, cache kits, plaques, pathtag holders, handcrafted items, etc. The GeoWoodstock Team reserves the right to determine whether donated items are part of the raffles or the silent auction.

To make a donation for the silent auction, please download the Donation form and email it along with a photo of your donation to donation-gwx@gmail.com no later than April 15th. Advance notification of donated items is needed to determine space for the event and to prepare for placement of each item.

Donated items can be brought to the event or shipped to GeoWoodstock X. Items must be dropped at the silent auction area on Saturday, May 26th.  Last drop off time to be announced at a later date.

PARTICIPATION

Raffle items will be on display at GeoWoodstock. Raffle tickets can be purchased on site for a nominal fee. Drop a raffle ticket in one, or all, of the raffle item's designated jar to have an opportunity to win that item. There is no limit on the number to tickets per individual or item.
