The Card Auction Is LIVE

Get in on the bidding before time runs out!

What's the card auction all about?

What is the card auction??

It is a great way to support GeoWoodstock X and feature your caching name, group or organization on a customized playing card.

How do I participate??

There are 54 cards in the deck (standard deck of 52 plus two Jokers).  Choose which card(s) you want to bid on.  Click BID next to the card(s) chosen and follow the instructions.

Keep a close eye on bidding.  Someone may have out bid you.  If so, just raise the bid by bidding again.

Winning bidders will supply their own unique artwork for the face of their card. Artwork can be from your pathtag, geocoin, a picture, personalized artwork, signature logo, etc. Art templates will be available and assistance available as needed.

What do I get??

Winning bidders get fame and immortality of course, plus one complete deck of cards and a warm fuzzy for helping make GeoWoodstock X possible. Now that you know what the auction is about, jump in and bid away!!!!

Geowoodstock X Registration Is OPEN!

Exciting news!  GeoWoodstock X registration opens this weekend.  The store and registration are open.

Realizing times are hard we've done our best to keep prices as low as possible.  In fact, we were able to match last year and in most cases lower the price.  Much of the content is similar to what you've seen in the past but with a hearty sprinkling of Kentuckiana charm.  That's right you will be visiting Kentuckiana, the term used to refer to the Louisville metropolitan area including counties in both Indiana and Kentucky.

The store is stocked with event coins, Louisville Slugger baseball bats, trading pathtags for the event, trading cards and one very special item.  GeoWoodstock X is all about bringing it back to its roots and we've done just that.  A geocoin will be designed to commemorate the first GeoWoodstock.  This coin is available only in the store and is not included in any of the registration packages.

So, as you sit down to place an order or register, remember to add some extra swag for gifts and future event donations.  Don't forget to mention to that special someone that a trip to GeoWoodstock X would make a great present.

As with any new endeavor there may be a few glitches so we ask for your patience as we launch the store and registration.  Let us know if there are any issues.  We will be glad to help.  The procedure for asking questions is through the GeoWoodstock X website.  From the home page, click the Communicate tab. Please check the FAQ first. If your question isn't answered in Frequently Asked Questions, Contact Us.  Leave us a message and we will be back with you as quickly as possible.

We can’t wait to see you in our little ‘burg.

Belle of Louisville - SOLD OUT

Belle of Louisville Ticket Update

In planning the Belle of Louisville cruise, the team wanted to make it as affordable as possible.  If you book a cruise through the Belle website it costs $19 for adults and $10 for children.  Realizing many were spending quite a bit of money to come to the event we decided to lower the cost to $10 for everyone.

The number of people who can board is limited to a specific number.  Tickets are required for EVERYONE no matter the age.

A few tickets have been set aside for infants; however, they are limited.  Once these tickets are gone there will be no more comped tickets.   Please contact us regarding these tickets.

There are less than 100 tickets left for the Belle of Louisville cruise.  Don't miss out.  They are going fast.

BELLE OF LOUISVILLE TICKETS SOLD OUT ON 10/18/2011.

A quick update and Belle of Louisville tickets go on sale October 10th

Just a quick note to let you know what is happening as we plan the GeoWoodstock X celebration.

It’s no surprise to us that there are tons of details to consider.  We’ve had a multitude of meetings, tons of phone calls and signed a few contracts.  We’ve made plans and even more plans.

More importantly we taste tested lunch.  Homemade red-skinned potato salad and Italian pasta salad, baked beans, pork barbeque or baked herbed chicken breast and scrumptious desserts.  Can you say, “Yum?”  Our caterer ROCKS!

When we made the location announcement in Warren, we also announced that the Belle of Louisville had been chartered for a Friday morning cruise.  Apparently, our instinct to book this cruise was the right thing to do.  The one question we have received more than any other is, “When can I buy my Belle of Louisville ticket.”  The answer is NOW!

TICKETS FOR THE BELLE OF LOUISVILLE WILL GO ON SALE OCTOBER 10TH.

Tickets are limited so get your ticket before they sell out.

Registration will be opening soon.  We are in the process of stocking the store.  Again, more meetings, more phone calls and lots more details.  Make sure you check this website often and put a watch on the cache page.  Follow us on Facebook to catch Monday updates and information blasts.

Just one last note, logging a “will attend” on the cache page does not register you for the event.  Everyone MUST REGISTER THROUGH THIS WEBSITE

Come join us for GeoWoodstock X

We’ve been working to bring you a fantastic celebration that will bring GeoWoodstock back to its roots.  We will be celebrating GeoWoodstock X just nine miles north of downtown Louisville at a beautiful township park in Sellersburg, Indiana.  The park manager and the Town of Sellersburg have been great to work with and are anxious to celebrate with you.

The Belle of Louisville has been chartered for a Friday morning steamboat cruise.  Join us as we cruise up the Ohio River on a 98 year old paddlewheeler.  The Belle of Louisville is the oldest river steamboat still in operation.  Tickets are limited so make sure you register early for this event.

InKy, our local caching group's slogan is Bridging Indiana and Kentucky through geocaching.  That is just what we plan to do for the Friday night event.  The welcome meet and greet with be held at the Sunny Side of Louisville tourism bureau located at the foot of the bridge to Louisville.  By taking a one mile walk along the bridge’s sidewalk you can cross over the Ohio River into downtown Louisville.  If that’s not for you, take a short two block walk to the banks of the Ohio River.  From there you can see the site of the 1st GeoWoodstock.

Saturday night will be the traditional trading event but this time with a twist.  More to come on this as the town prepares to celebrate GeoWoodstock X with us.

The website forums will open soon.  In the meantime, follow up on Facebook and check back here often for updates.

Thanks to the team for all the hard work and we will see you on the Sunny Side of Louisville on May 26, 2012.
