Previous GeoWoodstocks.

Experience the world's largest gathering of geocachers.

Combining a meet and greet opportunity for players from around the world with a series of classes and workshops, appearances by legends of the Geocaching community and the single largest assembly of Geocaching vendors, GeoWoodstock has grown from a small meeting into the annual international convention for the game of Geocaching.

Each year, GeoWoodstock is held in a new geographic region and hosted by the local clubs, giving cachers from around the world a chance to hunt, explore and make new friends in fresh and interesting territory. No matter what kind of geocaching you love, you'll find a friend at GeoWoodstock.

Hello from the GeoWoodstock XI Team

The concept of GeoWoodstock was founded 11 years ago by JoGPS. Think of it as a conference or convention for the international geocaching community. You'll not only meet cachers from all over the United States and the world but you'll learn about the latest & greatest in geocaching tools - GPSr, hides, coins, software, etc.

This is a very laid back event. It all began with the 1st annual GeoWoodstock on June 21st, 2003 in Louisville, KY and has grown into a Mega event. If you have never attended a GeoWoodstock, make plans to attend now and see what it's all about! If you have attended before, well, you know the feeling and we'll see you in May 2013!

Circle B Bar Reserve is a local favorite. It includes freshwater marshes, hardwood swamps, oak hammocks, creeks and lakes. Circle B is home to waterfowl, ospreys, eagles and alligators. The area is also home to many, many great caches.
