There will be tons of free camping east on I-90 (e. of N. Bend) between Tinkham and Denney Creek campgrounds. Take the Tinkham campground exit if eastbound or the Denney Creek exit if westbound. Find the gravel road running parallel with I-90 freeway on south side. There are a number of large pull off areas where people set up dispersed campsites. Coincidentally this area is a very short distance from the major geocache that is described somewhere in the Geowoodstock website.

Is there landmarks or anything to mark exactly where you can camp and not get in trouble? We're not familiar with the area.

Free Camping? 8)

That certainly sounds inviting. I'll have to give that a look. Still sorting out who all is heading up that way. I'm sure there will be a lot of us and some carpooling will be available.

I'm fond of the idea of leaving my tent and then coming back later to find it still there. Is that very likely in this scenario?
