Seminars

Seminar 1: 10:30 - 11:15 am – Personalize your Cache Experience (Coins, Pathtags, Chips and others): Come and learn how to make your own personalized cache tokens to leave behind, collect or trade. You do not need to leave an arm and leg behind in the cache to create your own style. From coins to path tags and other goodies, you can leave your mark and your signature for others to gander at!

Seminar 2: 11:30 - 12:15 pm – The Basics of Caching: Are you new to caching? Then welcome to the fastest growing family in the world. This seminar will teach you all the basics, from creating an account, to downloading pocket queries, to caching without a GPS! It can be done, and we will show you how. Make Geocaching a part of your family’s activities, and watch as you grow closer while using our government’s billion dollar satellites to find Tupperware in the woods!

Seminar 3: 12:30 - 1:15 pm - GSAK, Something for Everyone: Frustrated? Not sure how the program works, or know the basics, but would love to get more into the features. Get in here and learn from one of the best, Craig, you know him as the Jester, is the master of GSAK and he is going to show you how to do the basics, and then treat you all with some more advanced features. He is even going to demonstrate how to do that cool stats page everyone loves for your profile! Don’t miss out!

Seminar 4: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm – What’s New Delorme?: Chip Noble is going to spend an hour with you showing exactly what is new! From their outstanding new line of GPS products, Chip is going to take you down paths of discovery, showing off all the great new features they have to offer. They can’t help you find that nano in the woods, but they can certainly get you to it!

Seminar 5: 2:45 pm - 3:30 pm – Sharing the Experience with Social Media: Lisa Breitenfeldt is going to show you how to take your Geocaching experience and share it with the world. From tweeting to FaceBooking, Blogging to YouTube, Lisa’s focus will be to make you someone people want to follow. Come to this seminar if you want to learn how to share with friends and family your love of caching, and get them hooked as well.

Seminar 6: 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm – Geocaching.com: Finish off your GeoWoodStock Experience with a rundown of all that is great about the new Geocaching.com website. Learn about the new features, and how to use areas that you might be uncomfortable breaking into. Take your caching experience to new levels and make the journey more enjoyable!
